Alexandra Chopson serves on Hunden’s business development team as a Business Development Manager. Since joining Hunden Partners in 2022, Alexandra has primarily focused on the creation of tailored proposal packages for feasibility and impact studies, destination and tourism plans, and implementation advisory services. She collaborates closely with the executive leadership team on proposal and interview strategies and assists in the contracting process.
Alexandra is especially passionate about projects that engage with arts and culture, as well as unique mixed-use districts and tourism plans for nature-centric communities. Alexandra has led proposal efforts for dozens of Hunden’s major pursuits over the last several years. Proposal efforts she is especially proud of include the Choose Chicago Strategic Plan, Nashville Bridgestone Arena District Study, multiple Indiana READI Arts Strategies, Memphis Beale Street Revitalization, and the on-call contract renewal of one of Hunden’s longest clients, the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Honors College degree from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, where her studies emphasized a holistic understanding of the humanities and the creation of original works. Her artistic endeavors received multiple grants, and she was an alternate for the International Gilman Scholarship. Prior to joining the Hunden team, Alexandra worked in freelance social media branding and marketing, and as an actor in her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee.
In addition to her work at Hunden, Alexandra is also a Joseph Jefferson Award-nominated actor and a proud board member of Chicago Metro PFLAG.
