Laura Vidal

Laura Vidal is Senior Vice President of Business Development & Strategic Growth at Hunden Partners, where she leads the firm's business development, marketing, and strategic growth initiatives. With more than a decade of experience at Hunden, Laura oversees the integration of business development, marketing, pursuit strategy, and client engagement efforts to strengthen the firm's market position and support continued growth.

Since joining Hunden in 2016, Laura has played an integral role in the firm's evolution, helping transform its business development and marketing functions while supporting hundreds of successful pursuits across North America. She works closely with the firm's executive leadership to establish growth strategies, guide pursuit planning, refine client messaging, and ensure alignment across marketing, business development, and proposal efforts. Her leadership also includes oversight of the firm's brand positioning, conference strategy, thought leadership initiatives, website content, podcast, and other external communications that reinforce Hunden's reputation as an industry leader.

Laura has extensive experience leading complex pursuit strategies for projects involving convention centers, entertainment districts, sports and recreation facilities, performing arts centers, mixed-use developments, destination master plans, hotels, tourism strategies, and public-private partnerships. She is recognized for her ability to distill complex ideas into compelling narratives, develop winning pursuit strategies, and build collaborative processes that elevate both team performance and client outcomes.

In addition to her leadership in business development and marketing, Laura has contributed to numerous market feasibility studies and strategic planning engagements, including competitive market assessments, stakeholder engagement, demand analysis, survey evaluation, and report development. Her interdisciplinary background provides a unique perspective on destination development, placemaking, and arts and cultural facilities.

Laura earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ball State University. Outside of Hunden, she continues to work professionally as an actor in the Chicagoland area. Her background in the performing arts informs her approach to leadership, communication, storytelling, and relationship building — skills that have become central to her work helping clients and teams bring ambitious ideas to life.
