Luke Miller is a Senior Analyst at Hunden. He specializes in comprehensive market research, financial feasibility modeling, economic and demographic analysis, competitive profiling, and stakeholder engagement to develop actionable recommendations for clients. His professional interest lies in destination and organizational strategy, placemaking, and real estate development.
Luke applies his professional interest and specialized knowledge to several projects, clients, and service lines for Hunden, including mixed-use district analysis for Western Governors University; headquarters hotel feasibility in Oklahoma City; sports venue and convention center development for Salt Lake County; and destination management organization advisory for Choose Chicago, the San Diego Tourism Authority, and Visit Greater Palm Springs. His work requires a deep understanding of competitive supply, demand drivers, capital markets, and operational and political considerations at the local, regional, and national levels.
Prior to joining Hunden Partners, Luke led business development for Dover, Kohl & Partners Town Planning in Coral Gables, Florida. Internships included the City of Rockford, City of Chicago, Congress for the New Urbanism, Lakeview Chamber of Commerce, and Gorman & Company.
Originally from Rockford, Illinois, Luke graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Policy, focusing on community and economic development. Later, he earned his MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, specializing in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics. There, he served as president of Out for Business and treasurer of the Real Estate Club. Also at Wisconsin, he was selected to join WREAA Fund II as a Real Estate Private Equity Analyst.
Mr. Miller is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU). He holds a DELE B2 certificate in Spanish fluency and an Illinois Real Estate License (Inactive).
